The results are in. 11 out of 10 street cats in Istanbul approve of our little wooden houses. We have the pictures to prove it. Every cat on the street we showed our cute little houses to all loved them and agreed to be photographed with them π
But seriously, we do have fun taking pictures of our little wooden creations outside. Wherever we go we try to keep a few houses with us so we can take some photographs. We think it adds so much more interest and life to the pictures and the works that we lovingly create. And like I said, it’s sooo much fun doing it. Just look at the street cats below!
Look at this cutie above. A lot of the street cats and street dogs of Istanbul are looked after by shops and dedicated animal lovers, so they’re often fed well and cared for. Not all of them are so lucky, don’t get me wrong, there’s way too many animals on the street that are not being looked after, but it’s great to see that so many of them are being looked after.
If you want to see exactly how we made this little wooden wonky house above then have a look at our Youtube video here. This was our first attempt at making a video. We still have so much to learn but we’re getting there slowly. Subscribe to our channel too.. pretty please π
This little lady was on the hood/bonnet of an old car, catching some nice winter sun, and she agreed to pose for a photograph with one of our little Broken chair houses.
Notice the little cut on the tip of her ear? That’s to say that she has been desexed/neutered. So somebody has probably taken her to the vet and paid to have her neutered. This way people will know that she has already been taken care of and won’t head in for the operation twice. People do care.
This adorable little street cat was such a sweetie. She’s posing next to one of our trippier designs on our wonky houses. Is it a black and white fingerprint or a psychedelic vortex sucking up the universe? Who knows, but it’s a fun design to make and we like quirky and a little weird π§
And this little cutie is no longer a street cat as she now lives with us. She’s ready for bed, curled up next to her favourite black and white striped wooden house. We love our little black and white houses too π
So, we hope you enjoyed seeing some Istanbul street cats with our little wooden houses. We certainly enjoyed taking the photographs. Next we might share some dog pictures with our houses as we also have plenty of them.
Remember to subscribe to our new Youtube channel too as we’ll be posting a new video each week. Thanks for stopping by.
Lots of love
